The first version of this record was released by of Montreal as a limited edition tour-only CD. In 2003, Track & Field distributed a version with a slightly different track listing, and some song title changes. This is the version currently distributed by Polyvinyl Records.

Note that “Girl from NYC #64″ and “Girl from NYC (Named Julia)” are identical. This song was originally released as a Kindercore split single with The Ladybug Transistor under the name “Girl from New York Volume 12.” “Charlie and Freddy” originally appeared as “Craig’s Head Hallucination” on the Archibald of the Balding Sparrows 7″.
